Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of facilities through effective maintenance and repair services. This role requires a strong background in various maintenance tasks, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties, ensuring all systems are functioning properly.
• Conduct electrical repairs and troubleshoot issues with electrical systems.
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
• Oversee facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Lead small teams in maintenance projects, providing supervision and guidance as needed.
• Engage with residents to provide exceptional customer service, addressing their concerns promptly and professionally.
• Execute residential painting projects as required, ensuring high-quality finishes.
• Perform welding tasks when necessary to maintain structural integrity of facilities.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair techniques.
• Familiarity with CMMS software is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on resident satisfaction.
• Leadership qualities with experience supervising or training others is desirable.
• Proficient in residential painting techniques and practices is advantageous.
• Welding experience is a nice-to-have skill for this position.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour
