Island Hospitality Management has been named the operator of the 209-room Embassy Suites by Hilton Syracuse Destiny USA in Syracuse, NY.

As reported by Hotel Business, the property was recently acquired by private equity firm Excel Group.

“We’re thrilled to manage this premier hotel in a vibrant new market for Island Hospitality here in Syracuse,” said Gregg Forde, president/COO, Island Hospitality Management. “Our teams are well-prepared for this new addition and excited to welcome new team members at the hotel to the IHM family.”

The hotel is located next to Destiny USA, the state’s largest destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment. It is three miles from Syracuse University and Lakeview Amphitheater.

Amenities include complimentary breakfast, an evening reception, an indoor pool and more than 9,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.
