Reeco, an AI-driven procure-to-pay platform for the hospitality industry, has named James Hansen VP, business development. With more than 25 years of experience in hospitality and hotel management, Hansen will help scale Reeco’s growth in the hotel sector, leveraging his industry knowledge to forge strategic partnerships and drive revenue growth.

“James brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in driving revenue and operational success in the hospitality sector,” said Henrik Shimony, CEO, Reeco, to whom Hansen will directly report. “His ability to lead and grow high-performing teams, along with his strong understanding of the challenges faced by hotel operators, will further enhance Reeco’s ability to innovate and provide exceptional solutions for our clients.”

Hansen’s career includes experience in sales, marketing, operations and finance within the hospitality industry. He has consistently exceeded revenue, growth, profitability and return goals for owners and stakeholders while driving market expansion and operational efficiencies, according to Reeco.

Most recently, he served as chief development officer for OTH Hotels & Resorts, where he led the growth and development of a portfolio of more than 15 hotels across the United States. Prior to this, he held leadership roles at Hotel Equities, Kolter Hospitality and Interstate Hotels & Resorts.
