Hotel management company Commonwealth Hotels has appointed Shawn Kvernen as VP, development. In this role, he will be instrumental in driving the company’s growth strategy and expanding its portfolio of hotel properties.

Kvernen joins the company from Aimbridge Hospitality, where he served as SVP, operations and SVP, business development. Prior to that, he was COO at both Terrapin Hospitality and KPartners Hospitality. His background also includes various management roles at Sage Hospitality.
