Duties- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department – Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of all areas – Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and professionalism – Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of guest requests and maintenance issues – Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed – Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards – Handle guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping services
Experience – Minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping management or a similar role – Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, cleaning methods, and industry best practices – Experience in a hospitality or hotel setting is preferred – Familiarity with custodial and industrial cleaning procedures is a plus Skills: – Excellent leadership and communication skills – Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities – Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively – Proficient in using cleaning equipment and supplies – Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping operations Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
