Sarasota hotel becomes first to partner with Uber on airport service
A hospitality management group is now testing an Uber rideshare program from its Sarasota hotel to the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport.
Scarlett Hotel Group, owner and manager of the Hampton Inn & Suites at Sarasota Airport, announced earlier this week it will be halting its airport shuttle service and replacing it with a pioneering program with Uber Central, part of Uber for Business, to offer guests free transportation to and from the Sarasota airport, which is roughly a five-minute drive from the hotel.
This is the first hotel in Sarasota to be partnered with Uber in having their program go to and from the airport.
