Welcome Frank

Welcome to a new member of the Hotel Business family—Frank Carrado.

Frank has started his position as sales manager, Central & West regions. He is a Brooklyn native, who graduated from Pace University with a BBA in business and has been in sales and marketing most of his career. Early on, he worked for small financial firms on Wall Street and then interned for the NY Music Awards, which led to a job with a major independent music publisher.

Frank was selling conferences and event spaces in Manhattan when the 9/11 attacks occurred, which led to his first advertising sales job for a military resale channel publisher on Long Island. Three years later, still calling on CPG (consumer packaged goods) manufacturers, he worked closely with his publisher to help his Fortune 500 national clients maximize exposure.

He then went on to the position of sales and marketing director for a cybersecurity firm, where he succeeded in raising the profile of the company. Most recently, he was the director of sales – subscriptions for the Financial Times.

Frank is excited to be on the advertising sales side again, saying he “is glad to be working for such a respected niche industry publication.” And we’re excited to have Frank join our close-knit team and know his enthusiasm and drive will help propel us into the next year and beyond. I’m equally confident that he will be a great resource and asset to our many industry partners to help propel their businesses forward. He will work with the accounts—current and new—in his expansive territory to create business solutions that address their specific needs and goals.
