JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality group has named Daniel C. Peek president of JLL Americas region. Over the course of his career, he has completed nearly $60 billion in investment sales, debt and structured finance transactions.

Based out of JLL’s Tampa office, he reports to Americas Capital Markets CEO Mark Gibson, partnering with Kevin Davis, Americas CEO for JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality group. Together, Davis and Peek will focus on driving client relationship management, investment sales, financing, tax and asset management strategies.

Prior to joining JLL, Peek served as president/COO at Hodges Ward Elliott, where he led a global team responsible for executing institutional-grade commercial real estate transactions. Before that, he served as senior managing director/head, hospitality practice group at HFF, where he established the firm’s dedicated hotel platform. Additionally, he co-founded Regent Street, an affiliate of The Plasencia Group (TPG), a boutique firm specializing in the sale, financing and advisory services for distinctive hotels and resorts throughout the Americas.
